Prominent quraysh clans at Makkah Bane hashem Bane muttalib Bane zuhrah Bane makhzem Bane taym Bane Jumi Bane Sahm Bane ‘Abd al-Der Bane Asad Bane ‘Ade

Reason for quraysh opposition to the prophet mission Their sincerity towards their faith and loyalty to their traditions that made them stand against Prophet Prophet critism of their idols, gods and goddesses infuriated them Sensitive to their traditions and lifestyle based on idolatry

Torture of quraysh to prophet person

Psychilogical harrasment Physical torture Abu Jahl brought camel intestine and put on neck of prophet Abu Lahb wife, Umm Jamil would through daily home garbage whenever prophet pass her house Abu Lahb sons used to spit on the face of Prophet Psychilogical harrasment They called him lunatic and sorcerer Abu Lahb used to follow Prophet when he want to communicate his message and he warn people that prophet was a lunatic and apostate who abandon old Arab faith Quraysh also branded him soothsayer and poet Economic sanction They collectively prepared a document which was binding on each and every single member of Quraysh. Entire Makkan residents had to put total economic sanction on and total boycott of the prophet, supporters and his family. Prophet moved to a place known as Abu Talib valley. This boycott remained until some kind hearted Quraysh revolted against the collective decision of Quraysh

Psychological pressure Tortured either death or to fore them to give up new religion Sumayyah, yasir and their son Abd Allah were tortured to death Physical torture They were harassed, declared mad, considered pariah, hooted by Quraysh Sa’d ibn Abi Waqqas mother vowed to starved to death until the he bowed down to her wish Psychological pressure They did not allowed to sit with them in private or public places Economic sanction Social boycott

Torture of quraysh to the quran

10:76 27:13 43:30 Lies fabricated by the prophet saw 10:38 11:13 11:35 25:4 False stories of old times Quran was fraught by ancient ages 16:24 25:5 They don’t believe life after death, their hearts find the concept of life hereafter repugnant. They are scornfully arrogant Compilation by some knowledgable Meeting between Prophet and the three Syrian slaves gave rise to the doubt that Prophet learned from them This is because the language of Quran is highly eloquent and chaste Magic spell The impact was so deep that despite Quraysh day and night struggle, it could not removed from the mind and heart those who accepted it 10:76 27:13 43:30
