Reading Ideas Nonfiction Use brief text and charts to demonstrate how to read for information Reading Strategies Use text and pictures to model good reading strategies for struggling readers.

Glogster EDU What Is It? Glogster is a website that allows students and teachers to create a poster with graphics and text for comprehension of content or simple creativity. Basic Facts  With basic account, a teacher can create accounts for students  Once a student logs into their account using a special username and password, they can create a Glog  Some features are limited in basic account  Students don’t need an account to create a poster  If teacher wants access to student Glogs, accounts will need to be set up

Reading Idea Parts of a Story Students can use explanations and pictures to demonstrate their understanding of story structure. Poetry Students can publish their poem on a poster.

Math Ideas Comparing Decimals Students can explain how to compare decimals. Fractions Students can create an interactive notebook page of fraction information.
