DOES CONDEMNING WICKEDNESS EQUATE TO HATE?

Romans 13:8-10, Love does no harm; fulfills the law of God. 1 John 4:7-11, Ought to love because God loved us. Matthew 5:43-48, Different because we love our enemies. Luke 10:25-29, Who am I to love? Not limited. The Bible does tell us we should love one another.

DOES CONDEMNING WICKEDNESS EQUATE TO HATE? We are commanded as Christians to speak the truth. 2 Timothy 4:2; Acts 20:27 Ephesians 5:11, “And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them.” Don’t participate. Help others see things for what they are: SIN! Yet, the Bible also commands us to correct our brother and confront wickedness.

DOES CONDEMNING WICKEDNESS EQUATE TO HATE? 2 Timothy 2:25, “correcting those who are in opposition.” 2 Timothy 4:2, “convince, rebuke, exhort.” Galatians 6:1, “restore such a one.” James 5:19, “turn him back.” Yet, the Bible also commands us to correct our brother and confront wickedness.

DOES CONDEMNING WICKEDNESS EQUATE TO HATE? Jude 23, “others save with fear.” 1 Timothy 5:20, “those who are sinning rebuke in the presence of all.” Proverbs 27:5, “Open rebuke is better than love carefully concealed.” Yet, the Bible also commands us to correct our brother and confront wickedness.

DOES CONDEMNING WICKEDNESS EQUATE TO HATE? Can we love and not speak the truth? Can we speak the truth without love? Ephesians 4:11-16 Even in situations where “trickery of men,” “cunning craftiness,” and “deceitful plotting” occur. We must speak the truth in love. The Bible demands we speak the truth in love.

DOES CONDEMNING WICKEDNESS EQUATE TO HATE? Matthew 7:5, “First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.” Galatians 6:1, “Brethren, if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness, considering yourself lest you also be tempted.” The Bible demands we speak the truth in love.

DOES CONDEMNING WICKEDNESS EQUATE TO HATE? 2 Timothy 2:25, “in humility correcting those who are in opposition, if God perhaps will grant them repentance, so that they may know the truth.” The Bible demands we speak the truth in love.

Yes, if we do it with the wrong spirit. No, if it’s done correctly and with the right attitude. DOES CONDEMNING WICKEDNESS EQUATE TO HATE?
