 Jupiter is one of the gas giants.  Jupiter is primarily composed of hydrogen. with a quarter of its mass being helium.  It may also have a rocky core.

 Jupiter is one of the outer planets.  Jupiter is the fifth planet from the sun.  Its neighbors are Saturn and Mars  It is miles from the sun

 Jupiter has over 63 moons.  Here are four moons.  Io has more active volcanoes than any other body in the solar system.  Europa has a frozen crust that may cover a liquid ocean beneath.  Ganymede is the largest moon in the solar system.  Callisto has more craters than any other object in the solar system.

TThe average surface temperature is -234 o F LLength of day measured in Earth time is 10 hours. AA person who weighs 100 lbs. on Earth weighs 214 lbs. on Jupiter
