Disney Theme parks built within Walt Disney Resort: Magic Kingdom Dedicated to fairytales and Disney Characters EPCOT Dedicated to human achievement, namely technological innovation and international culture MGM Studios (now Hollywood Studios) Dedicated to show business and memorable movie moments Animal Kingdom Get up close and personal with wild animals

2. Non-Disney Sea World Marine-life based zoological park Gatorland Orlando is the alligator capital of the world Universal Studios Attractions and rides based on Universal motion pictures

3. Day Trip Cocoa Beach Kennedy Space Centre (Cape Canaveral) Launch site that has been used for every NASA human space expedition Numerous other beaches within a 1-2 hour drive
