Boy Scout Troop 80 Summer Camp 2012
Background ► Troop Funding: The troop brings in, through the Christmas Tree Sale, a little more each year than it takes to run the organization. ► Goal: To use those additional funds to do an extraordinary trip about every 3 years. ► Purpose: To reward the scouts for their efforts and to provide the boys with an unusual experience.
Approvals ► Committee: A proposal was given to the Troop committee by the Scoutmaster. The proposal was approved. ► PLC: The proposal was presented to the Patrol Leader Council and was also approved. Proposal Accepted and Approved

Timeframe ► Departing MPC – July 20, 2012 ► Returning MPC – July 28, 2012

Cost Troop 80 will pick up the majority of the cost for Scouts and registered adult leaders who have been active in the troop and have participated in at least one Christmas Tree Sale. The cost for each Scout and each Adult Leader will be approximately $150 per person
