East Hartford High School Library Media Center Monthly Report November 2010
East Hartford High School LMC Monthly Report November 2010 Library Highlights: We added 71 new print titles to our library collection. 230 classes used the library during the month for research, computer use, projects, tutoring, and checking out books. The library presented a workshop for over 30 faculty members about our online databases. Students participated in Food For Fines; by bringing in 2 cans of food, students had their overdue book fines deleted. The library collected a total of 2 boxes of canned goods adding to the DECA Food Drive to help the residents of East Hartford. The flip cameras made their debut with Ms. Branciforte’s Spanish 2 Honors classes! This new technology brought about a bit of frustration, new learning and lots of fun!
