Radcliff Elementary School The Mission of the Student Technology Leadership Program (STLP) is to advance individual capabilities; to motivate all students; and to create leadership opportunities through the use of technology.

How do Students join STLP? Goal 2 STLP will provide leadership opportunities for all students. Students must complete an application. Students meet thirty minutes before school and Friday afternoons. Student Technology Leadership Program Application (STLP) Radcliff Elementary School The Student Technology Leadership Program (STLP) gives students the opportunity to become leaders in their school through the use of technology. A student technology leader helps adults and students at school. STLP students are involved in these activities: Using a digital camera/digital video camera, video editing, basic troubleshooting, software installation, and computer maintenance. If you would be interested in applying for this program, please fill out this application. Publicizing our Accomplishments Radcliff Elementary School shares our STLP accomplishments through our school newsletters, our local newspaper, on HCETV, through our school and district website, and by participation in local, district, and regional showcases. Here is an example of our 4th grade students highlighting a story about the School Technology Club.

Goal 3 Students will participate in multi-age collaboration by forming innovative learning partnerships. Goal 4 The STLP will form learning partnerships among students with different technology skills. The crew consists of students from 5 th grade. Student directors work with students of varying technological skill levels to create, continually add to and enhance existing skills. STLP in Action STLP students help younger students in the computer lab before school. Students log in and use Compass Learning Technology Club

Goal 5 The STLP will develop activities which benefit communities The Radcliff Elementary School news broadcasts provides a forum for communities events ranging from performances at the PAC, to community wide events such as blood drives, Literacy Festivals and Walk-For- Life. The camera crew announces daily events and does the pledge to the flag.

STLP students promote a Recycling Program! Goal 5 The STLP will develop activities which benefit communities.

STLP Students at Work Goal 6 The STLP will develop instructional activities which integrates technology and benefits the school and supports KETS. Setting up the computers in the library gave the more technology advanced students a chance to teach and instruct other students how to connect a student computer work station. STLP students clean computer monitors and keyboards in the media center and computer labs. Our students help set up and prepare lab each morning. They also help younger students with logging into the network and various other programs that require usernames and passwords.

Ways that You Promote your School STLP students are given the opportunity to show off our school by taking pictures of special events and activities at our school. The pictures and articles are often posted on the “Good News” page on the Hardin County School District and school web site. This gives the community and other students the opportunity to enjoy the happenings at Radcliff Elementary School. Goal 2 The STLP will provide leadership opportunities for all students. Light, Camera, Action: PR moments captured by the STLP Crew! STLP students took pictures of the 2012 Spelling Bee winners! The STLP camera crew took pictures of Ms. Everhart winning an IPOD touch grant.

Other projects and the goals they meet Radcliff Elementary participates in many projects that provide services to the community. Some of these projects include:  Can food drives for the needy  Box Tops for Education  Recycling Projects  Letters to military personnel

Student Participation at Local, District, and State Level Radcliff Elementary students participated in the Western Kentucky Fall showcase. Radcliff Elementary students participated in the Western Kentucky Fall showcase.

Radcliff Elementary School STLP Vision For The Future Radcliff Elementary will continue to include more students and faculty in our STLP group.
