What is Triple Space Computing? New telecommunication standard in which communication is carried out by reading and writing information to be exchanged in a shared space or Triple Space Triple Spaces are a standard for information exchange that allows the exchange of information to be tailored to semantic web patterns

Triple-space computing Mail-Post; Phone-Calls; ;... WEB Message-oriented paradigm for Web Services TSC (for Semantic Web Services) Humans Triple Space Servers Messages Publishing

Where did it start? Founded by the Forschung Innovation Technologies Partnered by – LFUI – Leopold Franzen Universität in Innsbruck – eWS - Electronic Web Service GmbH in Innsbruck – TDE - Thonhauser Data Engineering GmbH in Leoben – TUW - Vienna University of Technology Project is headed by Omair Shafiq Began in March 2005 and is expected to be implemented in August 2007

Web Service Today Some processes in eWork and eCommerce have been automated – Payment Transactions Limited due to human support service tasks – discovery, selection, composition, mediation, execution, and monitoring Also failed in reliability, security, and recovery

Semantic Web Services Provide the intelligent infrastructure that normal web services lack Perform discovery, selection, composition, mediation, execution, and monitoring without human support Flawless exchange of data and applications on a semantic level

Tuple Space – Virtual shared memory space – Tuples sets of typed values – Read and write Tuples to communicate and coordinate information Tuple Space + Semantic Web Environment = Triple Space Computing

Today’s Web Based Applications

The Idea of Triple Space Computing Triple Space publish read take

Triple-Based Applications Based on Resource Description Framework Triples RDF Triples read and write data and then encode and transfer the information into the Triple Space Servers The extension of Tuple Space Computing to support RDF will form a basis for Triple Space Computing

Triple Space Computing

Advantages of Triple Space Computing Saves client’s time from searching through the provider’s web page for information Easier for the publisher Overcome language barriers Less worry of loss of information and it is very secure

Advantages Continued… Can be used as communication standard for Web Services Provides support and also improves the communication process Can be useful in the enhancement of semantic enabled communication Eliminates the need to clients information

Who will this effect? Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) Business-to-Business (B2B)

In Conclusion A very complex process, but it’s use is very simple Expected to be the new standard of information exchange A new breed of information exchange technology has been created
