Why 1:1? Students today think, learn, work and play differently than past generations… ……and the world is changing…

…how students live… …and how they learn. Technology is a catalyst to provide a bridge between…

For a laptop to be checked out to your student…  Parent/guardian and student review and sign the Required Use Rules  Parent and student review the Guide for Usage Fee and pay the fee at the business office  Fee is $25 per semester; financial assistance available

For a laptop to be checked out to your student…  Parent/guardian attend one of the parent orientation sessions  Jan. 31 st at River, 5:30-6:00 PM  Feb. 4 th at Fort, 6:00 – 6:30 PM  During the checkout process, students will log in to make sure their logins and passwords are working

Care – It’s Common Sense!  Charge nightly  Do not walk around with the laptop open  Carry in provided sleeve when not in use (and use backpacks!)

The Usage Fee will cover…  Routine maintenance and upkeep of the laptops

The Usage Fee will not cover…  If the machine is dropped  If the laptop/charger was stolen because it was left unattended  If damage is due to not following the Required Use Rules
