A Journey Into The Qur’an

Verily, in the alternation of the night and the day, and in all that Allah hath created, in the heavens and the earth, are signs for those who fear Him. (Quran 10:6)

Do no mischief on the earth, after it hath been set in order, but call on Him with fear and longing (in your hearts): For the mercy of Allah is (always) near to those who do good. (Quran 7:56)

Wealth and sons are allurements of the life of this world. (Quran 18:46)

And in the earth are tracts (diverse though) neighbouring, and gardens of vines and fields sown with corn, and palm trees - growing out of single roots or otherwise: watered with the same water; yet some of them We make more excellent than others to eat. Behold, verily in these things there are signs for those who understand! (Quran 13:4)

And on the earth We have spread out (like a carpet); set thereon mountains firm and immovable and produced therein all kinds of things in due balance. (Quran 13:19)

Do they not observe the birds above them spreading their wings and folding them in? None can uphold them except (Allah) Most Gracious: Truly it is He that watches over all things. (Quran 67:19)

And verily in cattle (too) will ye find an instructive sign. From what is within their bodies between excretions and blood, We produce, for your drink, milk pure and agreeable to those who drink it. (Quran 16:66)

Man We did create from a quintessence (of clay); Then We placed him as (a drop of) sperm in a place of rest, firmly fixed; Then We made the sperm into a clot of congealed blood; Then of that clot We made a (foetus) lump; then We made out of that lump bones and We clothed the bones with flesh; then We developed out of it another creature. So blessed be Allah, the Best to create! (Quran 23:12-14)

S ay: “If the ocean were ink (wherewith to write out) the words of my Lord. Sooner would the ocean be exausted than would the words of my Lord, even if We added another ocean like it, for its aid.” (Quran 18:109)

It is not permitted to the sun to catch up the moon, nor can the night outstrip the day: Each just swims along in (its own) orbit (according to Law) (Quran 36:40)

It is He who made the sun to be a shining glory and the moon to be a light (of beauty), and measured out stages for it; that ye might know the number of years and the count (of time). Nowise did Allah create this but in truth and righteousness. (Thus) doth He explain His signs in detail, for those who understand. (Quran 10:5)

If We had caused this Quran to descend upon a mountain, thou (O Muhammad) verily hadst seen it humbled, rent asunder by the fear of Allah. Such similitudes coin We for mankind that haply they may reflect. (Quran 59:21)

Allah send down water from the sky and therewith revives the earth after her death! Lo! herein is indeed a proof for people who hear. (Quran 16:65)

And of His signs is this: He show you the lightning for a fear and for a hope, and send down water from the sky, and thereby quicken the earth after her death. Lo! herein indeed are portents for folk who understand. (Quran 30:24)

And of His portents is the creation of the heaven and the earth, and of whatever beasts He hath dispersed therein. And He is Able to gather them when He will. (Quran 42:29)
