THE PANIC ATTACK Sweating, palpitations, breathing problems, shaking, tingling, tremors…giddiness, faintness, dread, nausea, numbness and fear of impending death and doom are symptoms which can occur.

FIGHT OR FLIGHT A real, present danger and a real fear. Adrenaline flushes through the system. But this can happen even without the lion !

A person can become frightened even by the symptoms of fear and panic. Peoples’ bodies react in a way as if they are under attack and adrenaline pours into their system.

THE TECHNICAL MEANING OF STRESS Stress is primarally a word used in engineering, a crucial concept in building bridges is that of stresses and strains of, basicall, how much it can take in terms of traffic and in both volume and use.

The problem comes when a person wants to function constantly at top pitch, like an engine always set at full speed ahead.

A person might have feelings of depression as they feel they cannot cope with life. Their energy is consumed in fighting off Anxiety.

A merry go round can make you dizzy and fall but you are not afraid.

STRESS CAN BE EXPERIENCED AS IRRITATION AND ANGER. THEY CAN RANT AND RAVE AT THEMSELVES AND OTHERS.

Laughter is a tranquilizer with no side effects.

A person has a fear that he will die or go mad or go completely out of control, that he will never be the same

WE CARRY BURDENS WHEN WE DON’T NEED TO IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU DON’T HOLD ON TO THEM ALL DAY AND YOU PUT THEM DOWN. ALSO YOU DON’T NEED TO CARRY IT ALL AT ONCE.

GO TO SPECIAL HAVEN WHICH YOU HAVE CREATED IN YOUR MIND. TAKE TIME OUT AND JUST RELAX AND LET YOUR MIND GO WE CAN VISIT BEAUTIFUL PLACES EVEN FOR 10 MINUTES.

CONFUSION ABOUT WHERE WE ARE GOING WE OFTEN FEEL SO CONFUSED THAT WE ARE NOT SURE WHICH DIRECTION TO TAKE.

IT IS IMPORTANT TO PLAN AND CLARIFY WHAT WE WANT. WE START OUT DAY WITH A SENSE OF PURPOSE AND WITH A PLAN. IT IS IMPORTANT TO BE FOCUSED AND TO STAY FOCUSED

COPE WITH ONE THING AT A TIME. DON’T BE FIVE OR TEN MINUTES AHEAD OF YOURSELF. STAY IN THE NOW

TAKE ONE DAY AT A TIME Every day is a new day. Stay focused on the tasks for one day at a time Don’t focus on the challenges or worries that lie ahead but rather on today.
