Governing Bodies and Accreditations AALA: The Adventure Activities Licensing Service inspects activity centres and other activity providers on behalf of the Health and Safety Executive (HSE). ABTA: The Association of British Travel Agents is the UK's premier trade association for tour operators and travel agents. Our ABTA bond guarantees your financial security. ATOL: ATOL is a protection scheme for flights and air holidays, managed by the CivilAviation Authority (CAA). Our ATOL number is ATOL BCU: The British Canoe Union is the governing body for the sport and recreation of canoeing and kayaking in the United Kingdom BAHA: The British Activity Holiday Association is the trade association for private sector providers of activity holidays and courses with the objective of ensuring high standards of safety, instruction and quality of activities. BSC: The British Safety Council is one of the world’s leading health and safety organisations. Acorn Head Office is an approved BSC training centre for Health And Safety at Work and all senior staff have a level one qualification.
