Recreation and Wellness Intranet Project

The Purpose Provide an application on the current intranet to help employees improve their health. Allows employees to register for company- sponsored recreational programs. Allows employees to register for company-sponsored classes and programs to help them manage their weight.

Initiating Identify business need Prepare a weighted decision matrix – the Weighted scoring model Identify key stakeholders Prepare a business case Prepare a project charter

Planning Develop a team contract Prepare the stakeholders analysis Develop a scope statement Prepare a work breakdown structures (WBS)

Planning Prepare schedule and cost analysis Determine task resources Determine task durations Determine task dependencies Create Gantt chart and network diagram

Planning Prepare schedule and cost analysis Review and finalize Gantt chart Prepare the cash flow report Identify, analyze and prioritize the appropriate tasks

Executing Survey ( Some feedback from the user and the management due to the cooperative.) Intranet site analysis ( Increase the number of sports teams, wellness programs)

Executing Intranet Design ( Increase the cost estimation and plan a new schedule for new scope of the statement.) Intranet Testing (Increase the items that offered by the health club chain.)

Executing Intranet Roll-out ( suggest the outsourcing some of the work and also have good feedback from the user and management from the survey.)

Controlling Updated the new scope statement of the project. Create a new baseline after the management changed the project scope.

Controlling Updated the project charter and the scope statement. Prepare the status report for all the working tasks in the phases of the project

Closing Prepare final project report with all the working tasks in the whole project. Present the final report which meet the project goal, schedule goal and the final cost for the whole system.

Closing Prepare the Lesson Learned Report for the entire project include input from all stakeholders in summarizing. Updated the project we b site frequently so that product deliverables.
