Who comes to WAFER?

What do people get in their food package?

Where does the food come from?

Total Poundage Distributed – 2013

Total Poundage Distributed – 2014

How can you help?  Donate food or make a monetary donation  Coordinate a food drive or event  Be creative  Theme specific food drives  Raffle, Entertainment, etc  “Non-event” event

This young lady was celebrating her 19 th birthday with a “birthday scavenger” hunt. Raising money for WAFER, was just one of her stops. This group of ladies planned an event of raffles, silent auctions, food, music, and much more. A portion of the proceeds benefitted WAFER. Grandma’s Gone Wild

UW-L Students went “Trick or Treating” These students did a “souper” job collecting food for WAFER.

Staff from KQ98 held an online auction to benefit WAFER. The online auction was for VIP passes to concert for an up and coming artist. The I&S Group and 501 Main St businesses constructed a Christmas tree and fireplace (out of canned vegetables and cereal boxes) for the holiday instead of purchasing a live tree. These businesses gave 835 pounds of food.

Give of your time, like these volunteers. How can you help?
