How does the PTA do it? A LOT of volunteers!!! The PTA has 7 Officers 3 school representatives 15 Board Members (consisting of 7 Officers, 3 School Reps, 5 Committee Chairs) 49 Committee Chairs/Leads Countless parent and teacher volunteers for all fundraisers and events

Open positions for :  Silent Auction Co-Chair, Auction Planning: if you enjoy planning events and are detail oriented, this is the volunteer role for you! Along with your team, you will be responsible for implementing many of the logistics including sound, menu, decorations, arranging items for display, program, etc.  Silent Auction Co-Chair, Database and Auction Sales: Do you have experience working with databases and love detail? You and your team will help us keep track of Silent Auction donors in the Greater Giving Database. This team will also manage ticket table sales as well as check in and sales the evening of the auction.  Partners In Education (PIE) Representative: Develops relationships with businesses and individuals who contribute time and/or funding to Spicewood Elementary School; works closely with administration to recognize these contributors.  WatchDOGS Lead: Dads of Great Students. Dads, grandfathers, Uncles, etc. to help teachers and staff monitor lunch room activities, organize recess games and activities, help with loading and unloading of the school buses and assist teachers with Science Lab or Computer Lab during their assigned class times.  Environmental Awareness Chair: Help coordinate school wide recycling events and help plan and coordinate “Earth Day” activities  Cultural Events Coordinator : Help coordinate outside entertainment to teach cultural arts program. Coordinate event/program with teacher’s staff and volunteers. Please contact Claudine at if one of the open spots sounds like a position you would be interested in filling.
