© Lloyd’s3 Words and numbers Helping children get to grips with literacy and numeracy Work with individual children to make numbers fun or to help them develop their reading, comprehension and verbal skills Time: One lunchtime a week or fortnight Process: Training at Lloyd’s, CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) form. Match you up with a child. Weekly commitment for one term (12 weeks) but some people do it for years. Commitment important for the child but there is flexibility as long as you give notice.
