“Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better.” —Albert Einstein 4 th grade and 5 th grade Student Council Representatives learned what to do from the SCA advisors and were hard at work during the Earth Day project!

“An understanding of the natural world and what’s in it is a source of not only a great curiosity but great fulfillment.” — David Attenborough It turned out to be a great morning to plant new flowers around the front sign and to prune plants around the buildings

“The environment is where we all meet; where all have a mutual interest; it is the one thing all of us share.” —Lady Bird Johnson Mr. Shafferman and Ms. Koltz helped lead the 5 th & 4 th grade SCA Earth Day projects around Lowes Island Elementary.
