Forum Context & Priorities Internet gateway devices: Extend present success AV & imaging devices: Get interoperable products to market. Security: Finalize solution and add security support to certification tool. Automation working committee: Complete sample implementations and finalize specifications. IGD working committee: extend the IGD specification & develop a specification for the auto configuration of wireless access points. Certification entity: Grow list of certified devices and promote and exploit the UPnP logo. Lowering the bar: Simplify the rules for adopting UPnP technology by enabling the Basic DCP approach. IPv6: promote the benefits of IPv6 in devices on home networks. UPnP-v2: Make transition to Web Services as smooth as possible.
