II. The Sinfulness of Man Bible verses- Rm. 3:10 ““None is righteous, no, not one” Rm. 3:23 “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” Eccl. 7:20 “Surely there is not a righteous man on earth who does good and never sins.“ 1 Jn. 1:8 If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves” Biblical truth- Man is a sinner by nature and choice; therefore, he deserves God’s wrath

III. The Sufficiency of Christ Bible verses- Rm. 3:24 “justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus” 4:25” who was delivered up for our trespasses and raised for our justification” 5:6 “For while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly” 8:1 “There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus” Biblical truth- Jesus Christ became the perfect sacrifice; therefore, His death was sufficient for our salvation

For with the heart one believes and is justified” Gal. 3:16 “yet we know that a person is not justified by works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ“ Eph. 2:8 “For by grace you have been saved through faith.” Biblical truth- God initiates and provides salvation, but man must respond and receive it; therefore, faith is required
