Ian Patterson has been involved with the Level 6 Diploma. The Level 5 Diploma is common for most. IT Essentials would cover a paper in this. The original level 6 Networking qualification for our area had provisions for 30 credits of networking with the rest common It has been agreed that Networking will have a separate qualification with possibly 90 credits of networking and the other 30 credits common. Suggestions are 4 CCNA papers plus CCNA Security, and CCNA Voice or CCNA Wireless or equivalents
