Città dei giovani (City of Youth NGO) is an organization, headquartered in Assisi, active since 1998 as a non-profit organization, but over 25 years presents on all Italian and European territory, with the main intention of enhancing the resources of young people, to prevent their discomfort and the phenomenon of deviance. So far we have received approximately young people and, at least once a year, we gather about 1000 youngsters with the mission to grow the sense of justice, peace, solidarity, tolerance and the engagement in personal project as responsible citizens of Europe.

City of Youth, part of the Association ERA (European Rogationist Association), was created by the will of the Father Gaetano Lo Russo, Provincial Superior of the Congregation of the Fathers Rogationists, with which it shares the mission: welcome children and young people in difficulties, in most cases abandoned and daily threatened by false models and accompany them, through a process of education, social and work inclusion, until reaching a total autonomy.

ACTIVITIES FORUMS – SEMINARS Annual meetings for updates, reflection and training addressed to all those wishing to participate in our activities and share our mission (Tutors, teachers, team leader). Forums and Seminars are made taking into account the particular needs of our concrete life, facing the most important issues of our culture and world.

activities MEETING TEEN ERA MEETING: moment of gathering and cultural exchange for children (under 16 years), from our European groups, experiencing difficulties,. The youngsters belong to different cultures and family background. The Teen ERA, is real summer camp of aggregation and socialization.

ACTIVITIES MEETING ERAPOLIS SUMMER CAMP: is a week of non-formal activities that are aimed at a target audience of young people (16-30 years), who want to live an experience in which to address and reflect on topical issues and problems. Young people shares among them an identity in the diversity.

ACTIVITIES MEETING ERA SUMMER FORUM: meeting in a week aimed at youngsters and families, offering points of reflection on everyday life. This year the meeting had as its theme: - The ethical challenges in today's world: marriage, cohabitation, separation, divorce, abortion,ETC. - Economic crisis and the crisis of values can be overcome? - Relationship between Man and Nature

ACTIVITIES CHILDREN HOSPITALITY IN ANTONIANO’S INSTITUTES -Socio-educational assistance; personalized educational activities, with the constant presence of educators 24h, services for guest comfort (meal delivery, cleaning service, management of clothing). -Fulfillment of compulsory education; vocational training; participation in internships and training courses in companies and firms; -Organizing entertainment activities inside and outside the community, with methods of non-formal education, sports and leisure activities.

All activities are targeted at: -Indigent youngsters that, for of their family status, are in a situation of socio economic disadvantage; -Young people who, due to their state of marginalization, are in danger of being involved in illegal or wrong choices of life; -Young people with special needs with mental or physical disabilities -Young people of different cultures, nationalities and walks of life;
