Forces On Structures By: Ben

What Is A Force? A force is a push or a pull or something that moves an object.

What Is A Tension Force A tension force is pulling one end of an object and the other end of an object in opposite directions.

What's A Compression A Compression is squashing or compacting an object.

What's A Push A push is when you apply pressure to move an object. For example, you can push a door open.

What Is A Pull A pull is when you move an object backwards.

How Does Friction And Gravity Have An Impact On Structures If there wasn't gravity and friction structures wouldn't stay and they would break and go to space.
