Blessed foods of Prophet Mohammad(PBUH) Vinegar/Sirka/Khal. Narrated by Umm Sa'ad Radi Allaho Anha that Prophet Muhammad Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam said : "Vinegar is the best curry / condiment, O Allah, Descend your blessings in Vinegar, because it was the food for Prophets before me & a house having vinegar (where it is consumed) will never face FAQR (poverty)". (Ibn-e-Majah) Poverty indicated above can be the poverty in actual, PLUS the poverty caused by diseases. Reported by Talha Bin Naf'e Abu Sufyan who narrates it from Jaber Bin Abdullah Radiallaho Anh that "Prophet Muhammad Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam took me to his house one day & Rasoolullah was offered a piece of bread, he asked if a curry / condiment was also available, he was answered that there was nothing except some vinegar". Prophet Muhammad Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam said, "Khall (vinegar) is the best curry / condiment", Jaber Bin Abdullah Radi Allaho Anh said that as I heard this from Prophet Muhammad Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam, I LOVE Khall from that time, & Talha Radi Allaho Anh said that I LOVE Khall from the time I heard it from Jaber.

Barley Bread(Jaou,Sha’eer) عن ابن عباس رضي الله عنهما قال: كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يبيت الليالي المتتابعة طاويًا هو وأهله، لا يجدون عشاء، وكان أكثر خبزهم خبز شعير - رواه أحمد والترمذي وابن ماجة Ibn Abbas radi Allaho Anh reports that Prophet Muhammad Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam & his family spent many consecutive nights without food, because there would be no supper. The bread of Prophet Muhammad Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam was mostly made of BARLEY. Narrated by Tirmizi & Ibn Majah كتاب الشمائل المحمدية للترمذي الجزء الثالث Someone asked Sahl Bin Sa'ad radi Allaho Anh: "Did Prophet Muhammad Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ever ate bread made of white (fine) floor" ? He replied "Rasulullah Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam never saw the white flour till he met Allah (till his death)". The questionaer then asked : "Did you people use sieved floor in the times of Rasulullah Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam"? He replied "No, it was not". Then the questioner asked : "How was bread from barley prepared"? Sahl radi Allaho anh replied : "We used to blow into the flour & the big particles flew out, the rest was made into dough".

Olives and Olive oil. يُوقَدُ مِن شَجَرَةٍ مُّبَارَكَةٍ زَيْتُونَةٍ لا شَرْقِيَّةٍ وَلاَ غَرْبِيَّةٍ يَكَادُ زَيْتُهَا يُضِىءُ وَلَوْ لَمْ تَمْسَسْهُ نَار ٌ‏‏ “Lit from a blessed tree, on olive, neither of the east (i.e. neither it gets sun rays only in the morning) nor of the west (i.e. nor it gets sun rays only in the afternoon. but it is exposed to the sun all day long), whose oil would almost glow forth (of itself), though no fire touched it". (24:35)(Al-Noor) وفى الترمذىِّ وابن ماجه من حديث أبى هريرة رضى الله عنه، عن النبىِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أنه قال‏:‏ ‏(‏كُلُوا الزَّيتَ وادَّهِنُوا به، فإنَّه من شَجَرَةٍ مُبَارَكةٍ‏)‏‏.‏ Tirmizi and Ibn Majah narrated that Abu Hurairah Radi Allaho Anh related from Prophet Muhammad Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam that he said: "Eat the oil, and use it as an ointment, because it is produced by a blessed tree". Al-Bayhaqi and Ibn Majah also narrated that Abdullah bin Umar Radi Allaho Anh reported that Messenger of Allah Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam said: "Use the oil in your curries and apply it as on ointment (for massaging) because it is from a blessed tree (olive tree)".

Honey, Dates,Nabeez, Talbinah A Hadith [narrated by Ibn Majah and others] stated that Prophet Muhammad Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam said: Make use of the two cures: Honey and the Quran".
