Physical Examination of Urinalysis I’m observing the amber color and cloudy of the urine specimen in the lab setting Urinalysis in Pictures by Yen Truong

Chemical Examination of Urinalysis I’m dipping the reagent strip on to the urine and setting the timer at the same time for testing. I observe for the color change on the reagent strip and compare with the color chart to see the results at the specific time requirement.

Microscopic Examination of the Urine I found a few transitional and renal epithelial cells and calcium oxalate crystals in the microscopic at the 400 magnification.

Microscopic structures on triple phosphates This slide has some of the triple phosphates crystals, and they are normally present in Alkaline Urine. They appear as colorless prism with three to six sizes, including "coffin-lids" or feathery- shaped like fern leaves. The image is 400 magnification. The clinical significance of finding this structure in the urine sediment is usually nonpathologic.
