modus high-tech electronics GmbH Scanner & Camera systems for industrial applications General Presentation basic

Inspection Specialists 25 years of know-how with image processing Pioneers at developing scanner based industrial image processing systems Short ways: direct contact to development Total software and hardware development from one source Long time experience in the automotive area International sales network

1200 dpi Full RGB 24 Bit (~16 Mio. colours) Red and white LED lightening Optional UV lightening Parallax-free scanner circ. 300 x 400 mm x pixel per scan (about 860 mega pixel) Testing cycle: 3 up to 25 sec.

Direct lightening to object One lightening colour per LED line One lightening angle per LED line Multi colour line imaging Integrated in scanner housing

Technological advance during the parallax-free image capturing by Multi-LED-Lightening. Six LED-Lines with special optic provide a homogeneously light. The UV-LED-Lines are enhancing the reliable detection of solder paste failures by fine pitch- structures. UV-Light is brilliant for the use of inspection of UV-hardening protective lacquer. The newest testing software of the MLD1200 can securely and without any delay detect all unrequested objects, which contain a structure greater then100 μm. Subsequent errors can so be excluded early.

High-end Camera system Camera is moving RGB 24 bit Matrix camera with Bayer filter Small area per picture ( depends on resolution ) Several pictures necessary modus-Scanner-System Static scanner RGB 24 bit colour for each CCD line x pixel per scan 25mm per second Only one scan necessary

Parallax-free By installing a special lens in to the scanner lenses-system, parallax-free and orthoscopic images can be generated. Distracting incertitude's based on parallax failures are impossible. Inaccurate solder joints and connections are even more securely detected and its identification guaranties the manufacturing process effectively. This Technology is protected by utility model and is used in all modus scanner systems.

Accurate Copying – Interline Capability One program as basis for several lines. Programes can be individually copied between lines.
