BUILDING STRONG ® Reach 1 19 Project Area Reach 1 Cutoff Wall Extension  Extension of Reach 1 limits to include Inundation Zone A  Additional six and a half miles of embankment and foundation fixes to address the internal erosion of the dike.  Planned solution is a cutoff wall through the embankment into the foundation  Environmental Assessment completed in June 2015  Construction start in 2017 with completion expected by 2020
