September 2009SIS P3 – Materials – RA43 Migration12 Migrating Cargo: Today  What do we have today?  IDEC process - IDEC is used to exchange Air Waybill interline billing data among the Cargo carriers. This file currently does not support billing of Rejection Memos, Billing Memos, Credit Memos.  Around 230 airlines are involved in the Cargo billing Process through ICH  158 airlines submit less than 10 invoice per week  Around 130,000 Invoices are billed per year through ICH  There are only 22 carriers who participate in the IDEC exchange process. 12
