TECO Green Tech Contest2012 TECO Green Tech Contest 2012 Taipei Ⅰ Researchbackground Ⅰ Research background fossil energy Fossil energy pollute the environmental seriously; the reserves is reduced and the price is higher and higher ;Many wars were triggered because of the fossil energy. Traditional energy problems Solar energy has great potential Solar energy belongs to low density energy, comprehensive utilization is a promising direction. wind energy The subprime energy of solar energy biomass energy The solar energy cured by plants wave energy fossil energy Solar energy cured in ancient times The subprime energy of solar energy Page 3

TECO Green Tech Contest2012 TECO Green Tech Contest 2012 Taipei Ⅰ Research background Page 4 Air-conditioning consume power greatly and pollute the environment Air-conditioning sales volume distribution Power shortage region distribution From the picture we can see that the more the air conditioning is, the more serious the power shortage is. Statistics shows that heating, cooling and hot water supply together account for more than 70% of the household energy consumption. The vast majority air conditioning use refrigerants such as Freon, The wide use of refrigerant have serious negative effect on the ecological environment; the conventional air conditioning usually need pump, it also will produce noise pollution.

TECO Green Tech Contest2012 TECO Green Tech Contest 2012 Taipei Ⅱ Invention ideas Solar building give us inspiration radiation refrigeration Passive ventilation system fermentation system photovoltaic system solar energy collection The solar building reduces the construction cost and improves environmental and economic benefits. The British low carbon hall of 2010 Shanghai world expo We hope to find a kind of material, on the radiation of sunshine, the material generates the effect of refrigeration. But it is too difficult, the idea was not fulfilled. So we think,if we could add some intermediate steps to achieve our purpose? Solar energySome materialHeat transfer Page 5

TECO Green Tech Contest2012 TECO Green Tech Contest 2012 Taipei Ⅱ Invention ideas No noise No liquid, gas medium Without space limitation Adjustment convenient Role fastly, long service life Mode conversion easily Semiconductor refrigeration has significant advantages, it is the ideal refrigeration way. To the end of 21st century, the solar power will account for more than 60% of the total power, photovoltaic power generation has the broad development prospect. Solar energyElectric energy Heat transfer Photovoltaic Semiconductor refrigeration Solar-energy semiconductor refrigeration matches to the season well, namely if the weather is hot, the sun radiation is better and the refrigerating capacity is great. The use of solar semiconductor refrigeration technology Page 6

TECO Green Tech Contest2012 TECO Green Tech Contest 2012 Taipei Ⅱ Invention ideas The put forward of "cooling water heated gradient technology” Solar energyElectric energy Heat transfer Photovoltaic Semiconductor refrigeration Solar cell and semiconductor refrigeration will produce a lot of heat when they are working, one side the heat will influence the performance of equipment, on the other hand the heat will lost to the environment and cause energy waste. Solar energyElectric energyHeat transfer Photovoltaic Semiconductor refrigeration High quality hot water Solar collector On the one hand improve the work performance of photovoltaic cell and semiconductor thermopile, on the other hand absorb quantity of heat, acquire the high quality of hot water. Solar energy Page 7 cooling water heated gradient technology

Heat conduction make use of temperature difference heat convection aquifer Heat radiation don't need power supporting and temperature difference Page 8 TECO Green Tech Contest2012 TECO Green Tech Contest 2012 Taipei Ⅱ Invention ideas The key principle to our project ---- three kinds of heat transfer

TECO Green Tech Contest2012 TECO Green Tech Contest 2012 Taipei Ⅳ Experiment research Page 11 In order to verify the feasibility of the key technology which we proposed and obtain relevant technical parameters, we carried out theoretical calculation and experiment research. Experiment system  Semiconductor cooling experiment system  Experiment debugging

TECO Green Tech Contest2012 TECO Green Tech Contest 2012 Taipei Page 12 Study on semiconductor refrigeration properties  The influence of input current on refrigeration effect  The heat of hot side conducts to cold side through semiconductor thermopile which makes refrigerating capacity and COP decline;  It can be concluded that the best input current of semiconductor thermopile is 2.8 A, corresponding input power is 30 W. Ⅳ Experiment research

TECO Green Tech Contest2012 TECO Green Tech Contest 2012 Taipei Study on semiconductor refrigeration properties-continue  The influence of hot side cooling mode on refrigeration effect  Through the comparison of the two kinds of cooling modes, water cooling effect is much better than air cooling effect.  The lower the cooling water temperature is, the better cooling effect is, the greater refrigerating capacity of semiconductor thermopile is.  The influence of cooling water temperature on refrigeration effect Ⅳ Experiment research Page 13

TECO Green Tech Contest2012 TECO Green Tech Contest 2012 Taipei Ⅴ Ⅴ Characteristics & innovations Page 14 The project integrate photovoltaic generation, semiconductor refrigeration, solar energy collector based on the buildings. It realizes the comprehensive utilization of solar energy. 1 Achieve two major technology targets: reducing the temperature difference of hot side and cold side to improve the efficiency of refrigeration (COP) and reducing the photovoltaic cells working temperature to improve the power efficiency of photovoltaic cells. And put forward the scheme of using groundwater to store heat and cool, which can realize the heat stored underground. 2 The project is the first to propose “cooling water heated gradient technology”, which cooling water is heated from 15 ℃ to 30 ℃ through semiconductor air conditioning, and then transports into the photovoltaic cells working surface heated to 50 ℃, and finally transport into solar collector heated to 70 ℃ or higher, so it can provide high quality hot water. 3
