American Legion Family’s Tribute To Service As you make plans for your National Convention in Phoenix Arizona, be sure to set aside Sunday afternoon August 24 th. A spectacle of patriotism and entertainment will be held at the US Airways Center in downtown Phoenix beginning at 4 pm. Every Department will be represented in the formal ceremonies which will also include tributes to our military families group enlistment and reenlistment ceremony Entertainment will include a local musical revue group followed by a special concert by Country Music star Michael Peterson.
