Can be used with a reflector to add lighting to the subjects face as well. Front lighting: Can sometimes make the subject look 2D (flat) & diminish details. Least dramatic/creative lighting. Good for those with aged skin due to less shadows. Side Lighting: Dramatic lighting. Often good for portraits, animals, and mountains.
