Evidence of meeting the 11 Illinois State Teaching Standards (What goes where)

Each document or piece of evidence must be described and a rational for why it is in that section must proceed the evidence. Rationales must draw from the language of the standards and must be coded to the standard to which it refers. Visual Content standards must be used unless there is no VC standard that will work for the evidence. Then you can use Pictures must be labeled and descriptions must explain what is happening in the image

Lesson plans Personal studio work Printed ppt Handouts made for students a.Bio of artists b.Processes c.Vocabulary

Observation of differences between work and behavior of students of various ages. Document how lessons address various cognitive levels. Document how lessons address various development levels. Activities for early finishers. Enrichment for advanced learners. Note how assignment varies with grade level... modification of lessons for level (age appropriate). C&I experiences can be used.

Document how you differentiate curriculum for students who are on last art class & others who are going to take more in high school. Teaching/learning styles documentation (instructional styles & strategies ESL students worksheets Adjustment (adaptations) for differentiated learners (gifted, dev. Delay, ESL, etc). Multicultural lessons.

Lesson plans. Materials made prior to lesson. Lecture, group activities, demos, hands-on learning, A.V. presentation documents. PowerPoints. Handouts. X-work puzzles.

Photo documentation of a classroom you set up with brief description. Maps of room you have arranged for instruction. Display boards. Learning centers. PowerPoints. Descriptions of how you started or will start a lesson to include the students (set).

How do you deliver information? Photodocumentation of presentation and demonstration with brief description. Description of openning of lesson (lesson plan). Sentence prompts. Assessment form of your microteaching.

Examples of your ability to communicate using proper grammar and spelling to a public audience. Example of your use of synonyms. Visual aids you created. Teacher examples you made prior to teaching a lesson. ITPS G: Newsletter. Parent Letters.

Tests you have written. Rubrics you have created. Performance checklists. X-word puzzles.

Pictures of you working with a classmate or a 309 student to deliver a lesson. Picture of IESA assistance. Reflection (for clinical experience) on assistance in IESA. Documentation of collaboration on assignments (video) or Student Chapter event.

Document conferences workshops you have attended outside of class requirements. Membership in professional organization. Out of class reading (books) on Art, Art Education or Educational issues (reflection).

Exhibition in Juried art exhibition. Presentation at a workshop or conferernce. Organizing a Student Chapter event. Officer in Professional organization. Service in School, College, or University Committee.
