Digital literacy Staff receive training on using Evergreen – Basic circulation, basic cataloging (copy cataloging), holds and searching (New!), admin/reports – Powerpoints, demos, trainer scripts, attendee exercises and cheat sheets – Training server – Webinars offered bi-annually Staff train patrons on using software features
Info Literacy Find, retrieve, analyze and use information Staff are given the tools to answer questions – Training documents, policies and procedures – Listserv and webinars Translating rules into patron language Patrons learn to search strategies to find what they want – Get access to 6 million items!
Leadership!!!
Leadership skills Staff can join a consortium committee to develop their leadership skills and effect policy. Provides an opportunity for staff to get together on a regular basis and swap stories. Bi-annual webinars/roundtables Staff can take the lead on these and develop teaching skills. Listservs and mentoring
