UAIC – FII The Round-Robin supervision Each student is visited at least once a week – but: leave them some degrees of freedom – do not exploit them They should have the feeling of belonging to the Group – enrol in competitions to play under the colours of the University – they go to main conferences and project meetings (NLP-FII: between 2 and 4 international participations each) – make them feel good together Their work is appreciated Give them formative responsibilities

UAIC – FII The permanent renew Nothing is stable or for ever – Try to avoid conflicts: a good team could be easily destabilised by a bizarre personality – Replace the ones who leave be happy if they ask you for recommendations; they will spread in the world good words about their school of origin – Get new people aboard by: courses & term projects final grade projects/papers master programmes in the domain summer schools
