eTranscript Initiative Overview Collaborative effort between Ohio Department of Education and Ohio Board of Regents Purpose of initiative is provide infrastructure to allow high schools to send transcript data electronically to colleges/universities using vendor Parchment High school students/counselors can initiate transcript requests through secure web application Student Information Systems at K-12 and higher education institutions modified to transfer data 2

SSDT (State Software Development Team) has completed building the ESDE (External Student Data Exchange) ODE EMIS (Education Management Information System) has completed necessary development activities including manifest to deliver transcript data Grant Recipients are currently working on building the crosswalk to transfer data straight into their Student Information Systems. 5 eTranscript Initiative Status
