Project Summary This project will consist of attendance at Seminole Discovery on Tuesdays and Thursdays in June between11:30 AM and 2:30 PM. We are going to Inform the Incoming students on the following subjects. ◦ What is IT and ICT ◦ What classes are offered in our program ◦ Job opportunities in the fields of IT and ICT ◦ Interesting projects that students will work on ◦ Internship opportunities that will be available ◦ The great faculty and staff members ◦ How much fun it can be to major in IT or ICT at FSU

Objectives Register For Seminole Discovery Gather Material, Brochures, etc. for the table. Create a Survey of about 8-10 questions for People to answer. Do 5 or more days of Seminole Discovery. During those days we plan on talking to at least 60 students a day, having ten or more of them complete the survey. Come up with a conclusion about how much is known about IT by future incoming students. Spread awareness of IT and ICT.

Metrics and What’s next Because our main goal is to spread awareness of IT and ICT we will measure our success by counting the number of people we talk to during Seminole Discovery. Our first day talking to students during orientation will be tomorrow morning. We are still working on our survey and will be deploying it next Tuesday. We have set a permanent group meeting time for Tuesdays at 3 after Seminole Discovery.
