Flood fighting efforts in Lake Arthur Extreme rain event dumped over 2 feet of water Parish officials and Lake Arthur performed flood fighting operations Sand bagging Temporary Pumps Visqueen Flumes Some flooding but no catastrophic loses Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority

Water level at Lacassine Refuge South of Lake Arthur Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority

Temporary Pump at Pleasant Street Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority 6 inch pump pumping water out of valve inlet into Mermentau river

Broadmore Drainage District Pump Station at New Orleans Avenue Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority Pump station remained operable. Sandbags and visqueen preventive measures for overtopping.

Broadmore Drainage District Pump Station at Third Street Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority Pump station remained operable.

Visqueen Flume and Sandbags Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority Visqueen Flume allowed for some overtopping and prevented the levee from eroding.

Street Flooding Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority Some street flooding at First and McClure Lake Arthur Park
