Instructional Design Instructional Design is a systematic process for the creation of high quality instructional material.

Instructional Design Theory Learning Theory Instructional Design Model - Instructional Design Theory is design-oriented with clear method on how to quickly gain knowledge - Learning Theory is descriptive, focusing on how the learner learns -Instructional Design Model is a step by step model is which they need to be completed in order. * Both Instructional Design Theory and Learning Theory co-exist because a teacher needs to understand how a student learns ( Learning Theory) while the Instructional Design Theory is by which methods the teacher will use to teach the learner.

Instructional Design There are many different instructional design models from which to choose. Many of these models have common features such * Needs Assessment * Goal and Objective Identification * Audience and Setting Analysis * Content and Delivery Develoment * Evaluation and Redesign

Instructional Design Dick and Carey

Instructional Design ADDIE

Analysis In the first phase of the ADDIE, the instructional problem is clarified, instructional goals and objectives, environment, prior knowledge and skills are clearly established

Design Systematically and specially plan or design the assessments, content, lesson plans and media selection. Storyboards will usually be used to create the idea.

Development Create and assemble the content assets that were created in the design phase. Test the plan for errors and the project is to be reviewed and revised after receiving feedback.

Implementation The plan is put into action. Beginning with setting procedures to train the facilitators and students and making sure that all equipment is working correctly.

Evaluation There are two parts to this last phase of the ADDIE model, the first, is a formal evaluation during each stage of the ADDIE process. The second is a summative evaluation in which tests are design for criterion-related referenced items and providing opportunities for feedback from the users

Why Use Instructional Design Instructional Design helps companies and organizations to effectively and efficiently train or education people. It has been to be effective by the military and in education
