Regional and national training in South-East Asia  In 2011, UNOSAT and ADPC have launched a regional initiative to develop the capacity of countries across the Asia and Pacific region  In 2013, UNOSAT teamed with UN ESCAP for further training and capacity development  The partnership focuses on strengthening capacities of national disaster risk management professionals on the use of geospatial information technology for risk assessment and emergency response mapping  Regional Training in Bangkok (GIS4DRM) in collabration with AIT, ITC and ADPC. Additional training and support in partnership with UN ESCAP

National training in South-East Asia  2011: Vietnam (NRSC and Line ministries)  2012: Myanmar (Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement and others line ministries)  2013: Bangladesh (Ministry of disaster management and relief)  2014: Cambodia (National Commission for DRM)
