Preparation in autoclave and hot plates compression press. (laminates of fiber reinforced composite materials with polymeric matrix, different fiber orientation).  Determination of mechanical properties; complete characterization considering the material anisotropy. Tension, compression, bending testing at temperatures -129 a 540°C.  Fatigue and fracture analysis of composite materials: High cycle fatigue, low cycle fatigue, fracture toughness, Poisson modulus, interlaminar shear, dynamic testing.  Nondestructive testing of composite materials, using ultrasonic with phase arrays, immersion ultrasonic, “C” scan, Lamb waves, acoustic emission, radiography, infrared thermography.  Failure analysis of composite materials using optical microscopy and scanning electron microscopy.  Noise and vibration analysis.
