PYP Exhibition The PYP exhibition has a number of key purposes: To engage students in a long term inquiry project that connect them in “identifying, investigating and offering solutions to real life issues or problems” To provide students with an opportunity to demonstrate independence and responsibility for their own learning To demonstrate how students can take action as a result of their learning To celebrate the transition of learners from elementary to middle school

What It Isn’t… Not a Science Fair project Not adult-directed Not a “free for all”

Provide opportunities for your child to meet with his/her group outside the school setting Help your child to locate experts in the community that can support or extend their study Serve as a mentor – volunteer to video tape, assist with rehearsals and help with the revision and editing of the project Join us on May 23 and 24, 2012 to celebrate the learning of our world-class fifth grade students!
