Fans were lucky to get a few photos, a live CD once in a while, or if it was a truly spectacular performance, a DVD (or VHS!) Now there is a digital record of most live performances, either in pictures, set-lists, videos and reviews. Connect with friends you met at the shows Social community around events lasts even after the show 10 years from now you will be able to re- live the concerts you went to

New ability for music discovery  higher demand for live events, live downloads, live streaming I believe that as more artists embrace live music and social media, we will see a shift in the music industry and how these artists’ make money. (Since its definitely not from CD sales!)
