2 „Entrepreneurship in rural areas – a chance for employment “ - July June 2013 Multi-national and transnational project Objectives:  Supporting entrepreneurial development  Promoting and supporting the reintegration of the rural labor in the economic market  Creating conditions for the development of non- agricultural self-employment solutions in rural areas Target group : 1200 persons living in rural areas (40% women):  300 persons in search of a job  300 persons employed in subsistence agriculture  100 inactive persons  300 unemployed persons  100 young unemployed persons  100 long-term unemployed persons

3 The main reasons to start the project:  In 2009, 70% of the persons who left Romania to work abroad were from rural areas, 35% were younger than 25 years old and 60 % were women  The aging population in rural areas  The lack of financial opportunities for training / retraining  Lack of socio-economic information in the rural areas  Re-launching traditions and traditional crafts  Huge imbalance between cities and villages „Entrepreneurship in rural areas – a chance for employment “ - July June 2013

5 Activities : 1.Development and implementation of awareness campaigns, in order to motivate and inform the target group 2.Research and field studies on the current situation of unemployment in rural areas – in order to identify the degree of interest among people from different areas and assessment of specific training needs, employment opportunities or to develop an independent activity 3.Develop and implement information and awareness campaigns – project promotion 4.Support for developing and implementing integrated strategies for local development of our initiatives in rural areas – to create the website of the project, in the perspective of its interconnection with the European sites related to entrepreneurship and innovative enterprises, promotion. „Entrepreneurship in rural areas – a chance for employment “ - July June 2013

5.Support for innovative, interregional and transnational measures- development network (conventional and e-Commerce) to promote products and services that are produced locally in regions where the project is implemented 6.Research and field studies on the identification and assessment of specific needs of the target group of rural areas-preselection of the target group according to proficiency, experience, training needs and market demands. 7.Providing information and professional advice - providing information on labor market and the evolution of occupations, skill and self-confidence development, training methods and techniques in searching for a job. 8. Assessment of skills acquired in informal situations / non-formal 9.Providing training programs 10.Facilitating the exchange and integration of best practices, transfer and exchange of best practices through study visits in the country of our transnational partener 11.Providing employment services for personal development, counseling, mediation, other types of support services for those who just entered the labor market, support for local initiatives development „Entrepreneurship in rural areas – a chance for employment “ - July June 2013

10 Results expected:  1000 participants from rural areas to integrated programs, where 400 are women  1000 persons receiving advice / guidance  300 participants in training programs  100 participants in prior learning assessment activities  240 participants in the training : with certificate - sustainability of rural areas  60% women participants from rural areas to integrated programs : with certificate  7% of rural participants certified in integrated programs, which obtained a job  7% of people within six months after participation in integrated programs have had another form of training or have found a job  A website of the project „Entrepreneurship in rural areas – a chance for employment “ - July June 2013
