 GVPHC – Year In Review January 2014 Point In Time Count (1 st Attempt- January 30, 2014)

 GVPHC – Year In Review February  Submitted FY13 CoC Application for $1,943,137  Point in Time Count February 12-13, 2014  525 Homeless Persons Identified  28 unsheltered/497 sheltered March  GVPHC Bylaws Amendment  Upper Peninsula launched the HMIS Committee

 GVPHC – Year In Review April  Virginia Homeless Solutions Grant (VHSP) submitted for $1,278,579  SOAR Standard Operating Procedures released May  VHSP (Preliminary Awarded) of $945, 066 announced.  HMIS Committee conducted the review of the Standards of Care.

 GVPHC – Year In Review June (No Meeting)  Virginia Systems Design Clinic presented by the National Alliance to End Homelessness in conjunction with the Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) July  VHSP Final Grant Award of $886,329  Established formerly/homeless representative on Leadership Committee

 GVPHC – Year In Review August  HMIS Merger completed August 23, 2014  SOAR processed 10 active cases, and 4 cases approved September  GVPHC Housing Crisis Hotline Launched September 15, 2014

 GVPHC – Year In Review October  Formerly Homeless Reps. Nominated and approved  Mayors Challenge to End Veterans Homelessness 100 Veterans in 100 Days  Submitted FY14 CoC Application for $2,206,968  HMIS mandatory user trainings  SOAR announced 2013 outcomes:  Processed 12 applications (82% approval) with 10 approved and 2 denied  Average length of time for application to be processed was reduced to 268 days.  Landlord: Partnering and Successfully Ending Homelessness Workshop
