Chinese new year

Chinese New Year  These people celebrate by 5 or more people holding a fabric dragon.  They decorate the towns with red and orange flowers streamers and lanterns.  You stay up until midnight.  Each year has its own animal this years is the snake.  But they have there new year at a different time to us.  Their colours are orange and red

Australian New Year  We stay up all night.  When camping we roast marshmallows and make home made twisties  We can eat our traditional food wich is lamingtons, pavlova, vegimite and BBQs.  We are all party animals and stay up partying.

Aussie Traditions All the teenagers go to camp grounds and stay with mates. They light up the glow sticks the kids run around playing. each year at the camp grounds we have skid comps
