Microsoft Access Review for Access Exam

Columns are called FIELDS Rows are called RECORDS Navigation Pane:  On left; used to organize DB objects  Collapsable for more working space on screen Access is a DBMS Blank DB vs. Templates Must NAME/SAVE DB before creating objects in it!

Use of a wizard?  After set it up, Access RUNS the query To delete fields:  Design view, Tools group, “delete row” Changing field size from default of 255 (why?)

How to change field size (autofit?) Headers/Footers in Access: cannot edit! Primary Key:  uniquely identifies each record  Default is first field Autonumber Only ONE data type in each field:  Text, date, currency, number Print default Multiple TABLES IN A DB (why?)
