Reflection  What does it mean?  Why is it important?  When should you do it?  How should you do it?  Why do so many teachers leave out this part of teaching?  What does it do to the growth of the teacher if it is left out?

Stages of Teacher Deveolpment  Survivial  Teaching to the situation  Teaching for student results  Dependent on perspective and responsibility (who’s is it?)  Problem in class = Problem with teaching

Safeguards  What can you do to help keep all of these “parts and pieces” to the art and science of teaching safe?  How can you safeguard against forgetting one or not implementing it?  Why is thinking of a safeguard important?

Review  Can you give one example of a teacher’s:  Best practice?  Role expectation?  Challenges?  Goal?  Effectiveness?  Authentic relationships?  Democratic and socially just classroom?  Knowledge base (what 3 prongs are needed?)?  “Jobs?”  Ways/models to use?  Reflection?
