Presentation transcript:

 A complex machine is any machine made up of two or added simple machines. A simple machine is an elementary machine for making work easier. They modify or transmit force or motion. In a simple machine there is the wheel and the axle, the wedge and the jackscrew.  CHAIN  BACK WHEEL  BRAKE LEVERS  HANDLEBAR  PEDALS

 Simple machines, like ramps and levers, are simple. They have´t got many parts. Complex machines, like clock, are complex. They have got lots of parts.

 A mechanism is a combination of moving parts that perform a specific action.

 The gears are metal wheels with special theeth that fit together.

 Gears have got many types of gears, I put something.  Rack and pinion  Worm  Spiral bevels  Sun and planet  Harmonic drive  Epicyclic

 A chair of a bicycle is a support that helps you to pedal better and not get tired so fast.

 The brake levers are connected to cables. These cables transmit the movement of the levers to the brakes on the wheels.

 The handlebar is a lever that changes the direction of the front wheel.

 The pedals are levers that turn a special wheel with gears, called a crank.
