MAJORS Major: A major is the one subject or field that you want to study. You get a degree for this. If you major in two different subjects/areas you then are a Double Major. Examples: Teachers are Liberal Studies Majors Doctors are Biology Majors Actors are Drama Majors

MINOR Minor: A minor is like a major but you do not take as many classes. You need a major in order to have a minor.

DEGREES What kind of degrees can you get at a Community College? Degrees: A.A.=Associates of Arts A.S. Associates of Science
