Section II General Changes Removed Standard and Non-Standard Procedures Combat Entry and Exit CLs moved from 2C- 5v3 to -1 section II Block In CL: Scanner reports before the LM Danger areas and noise levels have their own section before the preflight procedures
Section II Thru-Flight v. QT Thru-Flight is completed anytime a full pre- flight is not required and any time the Before Leaving Airplane CL is completed. QT is done for quick turn operations (regardless of fuel on-load), including inspection of maintenance items. QT is allowed on crew changes as long as FE/LM have a face to face turnover at the aircraft, otherwise a Thru-Flight is required
Before Interior Inspection All LM Preflight Checks now included with FE/Scanner Battery System and Charging System checks moved to the beginning of Before Interior Inspection and updated for clarification
Preflight Checks Accumulator checks moved to the beginning of scanners interior inspection M-Test for A/P Pitch and Roll / PACS Pitch and Roll replaced by system functional checks Single Side SAS IBIT failures require both pilot/co-pilot side MBIT. All other IBIT failures require only the failed side MBIT
Preflight Checks For Stallimiter IBIT failures, maintenance personnel are required to perform MBIT Auto-Pilot disconnect check added after flight control checks
Section II Crew ID codes have been revised for CL clarification Sub steps for MADAR engine health monitoring check removed from hand held and expanded. Bleed Air / Pressurization clarified for Combat Entry CL: A/C off and Bleed Valves closed
Section II Combat Entry / Exit and A/R Checklists moved between Cruise and Descent Checklists FE is required to give estimated land time and Wx to troop on Descent
Block In and Quick Stop Quick Stop not to be used for ERO/ERCC (may be used for offloading ACMs with engines running) Block In used for ERO/ERCC, on/off load PAX or small articles through CED. For ERCC, departing crew completes Block In CL, arriving crew resumes with Before Taxi
Block In * items on Block In are used for CED (no visor/ramp) on/off loads Engineer reads CL, including “Clear to depart” and “Visor clear to open” calls -1-4 has response items for P/CP not included in Engineer’s hand held / expanded. OGV will offer more guidance on what will be required for these items

Kneeling CP/E checks the EMER HYD light and brake pressure guage No direction on what tires get chocked. 3” still apply
Ground Emergencies For ground emergencies where the parking brake is set, the CP now checks the EMER HYD light as well as the brake pressure gauge Quick Stop CL is no longer required to deplane Scanner. New Challenge / Response items for Scanner and LM for ground evacuation Procedures should be reviewed by ALL personnel for familiarization
Section III CED is added as a primary ground evacuation exit for the flight deck APU Fire on the Ground CL combines Crew in Place and Crew not in Place checklists. –Ground Exits challenge changed to Prepare to Evacuate –FE/LM required to make radio call and call to evacuate personnel if no P/CP present. –LM Responsible for FE column if FE not present
